MANREET KANWAR WINS THE NATIONAL JOE JOHNSON AWARD
Manreet Kanwar, MD received the Michigan Chapter Associate Leadership Award in 2009 and became the Michigan nominee for the Joseph E. Johnson Leadership Award. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Kanwar was selected for this national ACP award.
Dr. Kanwar completed her residency in Internal Medicine in June 2007 at St John Hospital in Detroit and is currently a fellow in cardiology at St John’s
“Manreet is an extraordinary young physician who I think is very deserving of this recognition. I have met few individuals who have had such a great impact on healthcare at such an early point in her career. With these exceptional qualities, including passion for quality and compassion for humanity, I think Dr Kanwar is a worthy recipient of the Joe Johnson Award from the College.” - Ruth Hoppe, MD, FACP
